Giants Dominated By Eagles 38-20

The New York Giants’ defense stumbled, as the Philadelphia Eagles rolled to a 38-20 win on Sunday afternoon.

— It was a scary scene in the second quarter, when Giants rookie sensation Cam Skattebo was carted off the field after suffering a gruesome ankle injury. He was later officially ruled out with an ankle injury, casting a major blow to the Giants’ offense.

— A pivotal moment came in the second quarter. With the game tied 7-7, the Eagles deployed their patented Tush Push to pick up the first down. As Jalen Hurts extended the ball forward, Kayvon Thibodeaux ripped it out for what should have been a Giants fumble recovery. However, forward progress was called, stopping the play and making the fumble not challenge-able.

— Dart didn’t have a spectacular game, but he didn’t make any costly mistakes either. The Eagles defense got to him for 5.0 sacks, and Dart ended up throwing for 193 yards and a touchdown, while adding another touchdown on the ground.
