Ever since interleague play was introduced way back in 1997, there’s been one matchup that fans have looked forward to more than any other. Obviously, it’s the Subway Series — there was never any question about it.
And this year, the Mets and Yankees are meeting for the first time at Citi Field for a quick two-game head to head on Tuesday, June 13 and Wednesday, June 14.
