After months of rumors, Jennifer Lopez has finally confirmed that she will be headlining the 2020 Super Bowl Halftime show. She announced the news on social media, simply writing, “This is happening. 02.02.20,” along with a picture of her wearing a cuff featuring the Pepsi logo, sponsor of the halftime show.
But it turns out J.Lo won’t be alone on the stage. Fellow Latin star Shakira also announced she’s landed the gig, posting a similar picture (only with a Pepsi belt) and the caption, “Get ready (world emoji) 02.02.20.”
Lopez, a Grammy-award winning singer, actress and producer, has sold over 75 million records.
Shakira, also a Grammy winner, has sold over 75 million records worldwide and wrapped up her El Dorado World Tour in November 2018.
