Andrew Dice Clay Returns to His Stand-Up Roots With Shows In NYC

Andrew Dice Clay is returning to his stand-up roots. The Diceman will perform at a New York comedy club — for the first time in 20 years.

The comedian will test out new material at the Stand’s downstairs club in Union Square sometime this Fall. Clay will also offer guests a “VIP experience” that will include preferred seating and a private dinner with him after the show. (For $1,000 per ticket, you can nosh on his favorites such as buttermilk fried chicken wings with hot honey.)

The controversial comic’s also touring with Roseanne Barr. Recently, Clay’s starred in serious films and TV shows, including “A Star Is Born” and “Vinyl.”

Some locals will remember where he spent his early time on stage–at Pips In Brooklyn, an old school comedy club that was a favorite of David Brenner.
